CLAT 2024: The Consortium of National Law Universities will conduct CLAT 2024 in December in pen-paper mode. "CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023 for admissions to the 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-2025 at the 22 participating NLUs," read the notification.
Meanwhile, CLAT 2023 will be held on December 18. The exam will be conducted once and there will be no additional exam for admissions in undergraduate, postgraduate Law programmes commencing in the academic year 2023-2024. "The CLAT exam is conducted only 'once' for admission to each academic year. No additional, second, or any other CLAT examination shall be conducted for admissions in programmes commencing in the academic year 2023-2024," read the notification
The all-India level law entrance exam will be held for admissions to the five-year integrated BA, LLB (Honours) and LLM programmes for the academic year 2024-2025. The CLAT 2024 application form will be available on the official website-- consortiumofnlus.ac.in from next year.
The Consortium of NLUs has announced the CLAT 2024 examination details in its recent notification. "The CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023 for admissions to the five-year integrated BA, LLB (Honours) and LLM programmes that commence in the academic year 2024-2025 at the 22 participating NLUs," Consortium of NLUs said in a statement.

The CLAT 2023 application process is still underway. Aspiring candidates can register for the entrance exam till November 13, 2022. The CLAT 2023 examination will be held in pen-paper mode on December 18. The duration of the exam will be two hours (120 minutes). CLAT examination is being conducted for candidates seeking admission in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 NLUs across the country.
The candidates who failed to secure admissions to their preferred institution through CLAT 2022, held in June 2022, are eligible to reappear for CLAT 2023 after completing a fresh registration. Moreover, candidates appearing for Class 12 examinations in May 2023 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2023.
