New Delhi: "However, officials from the Chief Minister's Office would be there at 6, Civil Lines to address the woes of the petitioners three days every week - on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays," said a volunteer of the Chief Minister's team.
Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party's Kaushambi office had said that the Chief Minister would be holding his public hearings from the beginning of the next month (April), three days in a week, at his new official residence at 6, Civil Lines.
Currently, Mr Kejriwal is in the process of shifting from his Kaushambi residence to 6 Flagstaff Road, Civil Lines which has four bedrooms, two plush lawns, a drawing and dining area and two servant quarters.
Mr Kejriwal took oath on February 14 and started meeting public from February 18. He took a break between March 5 and March 16, when he left for Bangalore and underwent treatment for his high sugar level and chronic cough. He resumed his public meeting on March 18.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has postponed, for a fortnight, his public hearing, which was to begin at his Civil Lines residence today, due to the ongoing renovation work.
"It may take another 15 days to get all renovation works completed, hence Kejriwal would not be able to meet the applicants," said one of his aides involved in the management of his public hearing, which will be held thrice every week.
"The bungalow is still under construction and the officials involved in renovation have sought 15 days' time from Kejriwal to avoid rush in the premises so that everything could be executed systematically," he added.
