- The 2026 Tiago features redesigned LED headlights and taillights
- New alloy wheels with a geometric pattern will be introduced
Tata Motors is preparing to launch a new car on the Indian market on May 28. This is expected to be the Tiago facelift, which has been recently spied testing on multiple occasions. With this update, the brand is likely aiming to improve its presence in the entry-level segment. It is worth noting that this is the most affordable car of the brand in the country and has not received a major update in quite some time.
Based on the spy images, the 2026 Tata Tiago facelift is expected to feature major design changes. These updates will be seen in the form of a new design for the LED headlights and new LED taillights. The design of the alloy wheels will also be updated with a geometric pattern. Although the test mule was camouflage-covered, it seemed to have a connecting plaque that appeared to link the headlights, and the fog lights seemed to have been positioned lower.

The Indian manufacturer is also likely to offer a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster in place of the current model's MID. There could be options for a single-pane sunroof.
Tata Tiago facelift is expected to carry forward the current 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. The unit comes paired with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT. The car also offers the option of a CNG powertrain with an i-CNG dual-cylinder setup. The car also has an electric powertrain version. With this update, the car will continue to compete against models like the Hyundai i10 hatchback and the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback.
