Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) is going to renew its presence in the 125 cc scooter segment with the launch of the new Burgman Street. This follows the launch of Avenis last year and is expected to include multiple design updates. Before the official event, the brand teased the upcoming model on social media. The short clips released by the brand give a glimpse of the design of the upcoming model.
New Suzuki Burgman Street: Design
Based on the teaser, the new Suzuki Burgman Street will come with dual-pod LED headlights. This design is borrowed from the bigger version of the scooter on sale in the international market. Along with it, the brand seems to have added a new copper paint scheme to the list of colour options. Currently, the two-wheeler is available in Metallic Matte Black, Pearl Mirage White, Glossy Grey, Metallic Matte Titanium Silver and Pearl Matte Shadow Green colours.

Meanwhile, the Burgman Street EX comes with Metallic Royal Bronze, Metallic Matte Black No 2 and Pearl Glacier White with Metallic Oort Gray colourways.

New Suzuki Burgman Street: Features
Along with the changes in design, the automaker is expected to extend the feature list of the model. Specifically, the manufacturer will likely bulk up the list with the latest features on offer. It is expected to get a TFT instrument cluster with navigation, keyless start with smart key, USB ports, silent start, all LED lights, and a larger underseat storage. Additionally, the brand is expected to offer alloy wheels, single-channel ABS with front disc brake, front windshield, and more.
New Suzuki Burgman Street: Engine
As for the powertrain, the 2026 Suzuki Burgman Street is expected to have the same engine as the Access, which is a 125 cc unit. This motor puts out 8.5 bhp of power and 10 Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, the hardware is expected to be similar to what is on offer on the outgoing version. If reports are to be trusted, the scooter might also get a 150 cc engine variant.
