KTM India appears to be preparing a subtle update for the 390 Adventure, with motorcycles featuring revised graphics now reaching showrooms ahead of an official announcement. The changes are cosmetic and do not affect the mechanical specifications introduced with the 350cc engine update earlier this year.

Revised Graphics, Same Colours

The updated model spotted in showrooms retains the existing Ceramic White colour scheme but features a new graphic treatment. The current Ceramic White variant uses an orange background for the large "KTM" and "390" lettering, with "390" written in a smaller font above a bold "KTM" logo.

In the new version, the background for the branding has been changed to grey. The "KTM" lettering is now smaller and positioned higher up, while the "390" script is accompanied by an "Adventure" prefix. The overall effect is less flashy and more understated compared to the current design.

The Electronic Orange colourway is expected to continue alongside Ceramic White, although it is not yet clear whether it will receive similar graphic revisions. KTM has not confirmed whether this is a standalone new colour addition or a running change to the existing Ceramic White variant.

Mechanical Specifications Unchanged

Mechanically, the 390 Adventure remains as launched in 2026. It is powered by a 349.32 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine producing 41.5 PS and 33.5Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, electronic throttle and a bi-directional quickshifter.

The motorcycle continues to ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, with a tall windscreen, TFT instrument cluster, cruise control and other features carried over from the 390 Adventure S and X variants.

Pricing

The 2026 KTM 390 Adventure is priced from around Rs 2.81 lakh (ex-showroom), benefiting from the 18 per cent GST bracket for sub-350cc motorcycles. With the new graphics, KTM is likely aiming to refresh the model's visual appeal without altering its competitive positioning against rivals such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and BMW G 310 GS. An official announcement regarding the updated graphics and any potential new colour options is expected soon.
