Mahindra has ended the series of teasers by unveiling the four new SUV concepts at its Independence Day event. The homegrown automaker has unveiled the Vision S concept alongside the Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT. All of these SUVs are based on the new NU.IQ platform and will likely spawn new models covering various families of vehicles. While Vision X seems to be of the XUV family, the Vision S seems to be a member of the Scorpio family.
The Mahindra Vision S concept features a boxy silhouette with dead straight lines all around the body. However, it has a modern appeal because of its front fascia consisting of the twin peaks logo flanked by vertically stacked LED lights on either side. Furthermore, the brand has created a new design for the headlamps, forming an L-shape.

It also displays the characteristics of an off-road capable vehicle with roof-mounted lights, a rather sturdy-looking bumper, and plastic cladding on the sides with big wheel arches. All of this while maintaining a modern appeal with flush door handles, slim ORVMs, and a new design for the alloy wheels. Chances are some of these elements might incorporated in the upcoming new gen Mahindra Bolero.
Mahindra Vision S is also based on the NU.IQ platform of the brand
Supported by Mahindra's NU.IQ platform, engineered for versatility, it offers an overall length range from 3,990 mm to 4,320 mm, making it ideal for both sub-4 metre and larger vehicles. In spite of its compact size, it provides the most spacious cabin in its category for both 4.3 m and sub-4 m cars.
The architecture accommodates various powertrains, including both FWD and AWD configurations, and can be tailored for LHD and RHD markets. Featuring a substantial 2,665 mm wheelbase and optimized front (745-850 mm) and rear (550-805 mm) overhangs, this adaptable platform is crafted to suit a variety of body styles and driving needs.
