Moto Vault has launched the Keeway RR 300 in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The middle-weight supersport is the rebranded version of the K300 R, which was previously on sale in the country. The bike in India competes against models like the TVS Apache RR 310, BMW G 310 RR, and the KTM RC 390. Consumers who wish to get the bike can get it by the end of this month.

Starting with the appearance, the Keeway RR 300 comes with an aggressive, sporty appeal. It gets boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, complemented by the twin-headlamp setup. All of this is brought together by a layered design for the fairing with a slim, raked tail section. To go with its sporty persona, the brand has included the 'Ride Rebel' decal below the tank. This is available in three colour options, including white, black, and red.

The Keeway RR 300 is based on a trellis frame hidden under the fully-faired outer shell. It is equipped with USD forks up front and a monoshock at the rear end. Braking is the responsibility of disc brakes at both the front and rear with dual-channel ABS. The bike also gets a fully digital instrument cluster and a 12-litre fuel tank. It has a 110/70 R17 tyre in the front and a 140/60 R17 tyre in the back.

At heart, the Keeway RR 300 gets a 292 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine kicking out 27 hp at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm while revving at 7,000 rpm. This unit comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. Using this power, the bike can achieve a top speed of up to 139 kmph.
