Jawa 730 Twin

Jawa, the iconic Czech motorcycle brand, has pulled the covers off its latest creation, the 730 Twin, aimed squarely at global markets. Under the stewardship of Classic Legends for India, this new model slots into Jawa's 750cc lineup alongside a retro, racer, and tourer, bringing fresh energy to the brand's heritage.

Engine and Performance

At its heart lies a 730cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, co-developed with Swiss engineering whiz Suter, the same outfit that dominated Moto2 from 2010 to 2012. It churns out 75 hp at 8,200 rpm and 68 Nm of torque at 7,100 rpm, promising a punchy ride that balances everyday usability with thrilling acceleration. Riders can expect smooth power delivery, ideal for twisting roads or city sprints.

Cafe Racer Styling

The 730 Twin reimagines the cafe racer vibe with a bold, raked-out front end and a round headlight echoing Jawa's classic designs, think those nostalgic models revived for Indian streets. A single-seat setup flows into an integrated tail-light, while the swingarm-mounted number plate keeps lines clean and aggressive. It's a nod to the past, but with a modern twist that turns heads without trying too hard.

Hardware and Features

Suspension duties fall to a KYB USD fork up front and a rear monoshock, ensuring sharp handling whether carving corners or cruising highways. Braking comes courtesy of twin Brembo calipers biting into front discs, paired with 17-inch alloy wheels all around for agile grip. Tech perks include a TFT display loaded with navigation, connectivity, call alerts, and SMS notifications, keeping riders plugged in without cluttering the retro aesthetic.

Set to debut at next month's Motosalon trade fair in Brno, Czech Republic, the 730 Twin is Jawa Moto's European focus. It's different from India's Jawa lineup, like the 42, 350, or Perak, crafted by Classic Legends under license. No India plans yet, but it hints at exciting times ahead for Jawa enthusiasts worldwide.
