BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro: Powertrain
Powering the new BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The setup delivers 258 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed Steptronic automatic gearbox that channels power to all four wheels through BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system. Using the power, the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in a claimed 6.3 seconds while offering a fuel efficiency of 14.61 kmpl.
In comparison, the lower 20i and 20d xDrive variants produce 190 hp and 197 hp, respectively, with both achieving a 0-100 kmph sprint time of around 7.7-7.8 seconds. This makes the new X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro the performance-oriented choice in the current lineup.
