Audi has announced a recall of select e-Tron and Q8 e-Tron models in India due to a potential brake system issue. The recall impacts Audi e-Tron, e-Tron Sportback, Q8 e-Tron, and Q8 e-Tron Sportback units manufactured between 2 February 2018 and 11 June 2024. As per the official announcement made by the brand, the recall covers a total of 207 units of the vehicles. However, the specific model-wise numbers have not been revealed.

The issue is linked to the bolted connection of the brake servo push rod, which, as per Audi, may not fully meet the required technical specifications. Over time, this connection could loosen gradually, potentially affecting the mechanical link between the brake pedal and the brake servo.
