TVS Motor Company has launched the 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V in the Indian market. The updated version of the motorcycle comes with new standard features along with new variants. Specifically, the features specific to the top variant have now been included in the base variant of the sporty motorcycle. In this iteration, it comes at a starting price of Rs 1,25 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the updated version, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V now gets a class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs. As part of the revisions, the bike now gets an assist and slipper clutch as a standard feature across the lineup. The new variant lineup now consists of the three variants, including an entry-level single-channel ABS variant with telescopic forks and a digital LCD cluster.

The mid-spec dual-channel ABS with USD variant is priced at Rs 1.31 lakh. It features levers that are adjustable and maintains the same digital LCD display found in the base model. Available colours include Matte Black, Granite Grey, and Pearl White. The top-end USD with TFT variant is available for Rs 1.37 lakh, incorporating a 5-inch TFT screen along with traction control. This premium version comes in Matte Black, Racing Red, and Marine Blue colour choices.

These changes in the feature list are aimed at improving nighttime visibility and accessibility of the motorcycle for consumers. Additionally, it makes the features of the higher variant available at a lower price.
In terms of mechanics, the Apache RTR 160 4V remains the same and is powered by its 159.7 cc single-cylinder engine. The motorcycle offers two riding modes that modify peak performance figures. In Sport mode, the engine generates 17.6 hp at 9,250 rpm and 14.73 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Meanwhile, in Urban and Rain modes, the output decreases to 15.6 hp at 8,650 rpm and 14.1 Nm at 7,250 rpm.
