Hero MotoCorp is currently developing an updated version of the Hero Mavrick 440. The Indian two-wheeler giant had recently pulled the motorcycle off the shelves in the domestic market, and the emergence of fresh spy shots is quite surprising. Interestingly, the Hero Mavrick 440 is built on the same platform as the Harley-Davidson X440, a product born out of the collaborative venture between Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson.

The spy shots suggest that the new Hero Mavrick 440 retains most of the design highlights and silhouette from the previous iteration. However, a few notable highlights include a USD telescopic front fork that resembles the model previously showcased at the EICMA 2024. Also, it was spotted carrying a bronze engine cover, which was shaded black in the older model.

Also, with the update, the new Hero Mavrick 440 is expected to get a host of updates in the feature list. It might include a fully digital TFT instrument cluster, as seen on the model presented at the EICMA 2024. Also, the possibility of a tuned power unit can not be ruled off, the previous model of the Mavrick 440 was powered by a 440cc, single-cylinder engine, working jointly with a 6-speed gearbox and was capable of delivering a peak power of 27hp and 36Nm of torque.

While the brand has been tighlipped about the details and the launch of the new Hero Mavrick 440, the media reports claim that the spy shots have emerged while the motorcycle was up for a TVC shoot. This hints that Hero will soon shelve the updated Mavrick for the sale.
