As the world and many in India watched 'India's Daughter' after a BBC telecast, there has been outrage over the comments of the two defence lawyers in the Delhi gang-rape case. What is perhaps most disturbing is that their words reflected what is said every day by lawyers, politicians, judges and policemen - 'It's her fault'. We ask: Why is the woman always blamed? Why is there no lakshman rekha for lawyers and netas? The two lawyers, AP Singh and ML Sharma, join the debate as does Justice Usha Mehra, who investigated the lapses in the Nirbhaya gang-rape case, Additional Solicitor General Pinky Anand, RJ Ginnie and filmmaker Aparna Sen.
