A top naxal leader believed to be behind some major attacks in West Bengal and the Nandigram violence has been arrested. The Bengal police were desperate to get hold of Somen, a top Maoist leader, believed to have played a major role in the recent Nandigram violence. He is also alleged to have plotted the serial killings of CPM leaders in Bengal besides masterminding several operations in neighbouring states.
