In what can be described as a novel lesson in patriotism, students of Jaipur's Adarsh Vidya Mandir school are being taught how during the Ayodhya movement, two kar sevaks from Rajasthan, stormed police barricades to hoist the saffron flag on the Babri Masjid dome, after which they were shot dead by the police. According to a textbook of the 5th standard, they became martyrs for a national cause that's been a rallying point for the Sangh Pariwar.
