Jammu and Kashmir will vote on November 17 for the first phase of assembly elections in the state. The recent agitation over the transfer of land to the Amarnath shrine may have consolidated BJP's position in Jammu district, but in the Rajouri and Poonch areas, people had remained neutral. A case in point is Salim Raja. Five years after Salim passed his senior secondary examination, he's found a job of carrying people from his village Baflez to Surankote in his cab.
