One can understand the pain and suffering that any orphan child has to go through. But in Orissa, a 5-year-old girl is paying for the fact that she has two mothers - one mother has given birth to her and the other has brought her up. Following a legal battle between the two women over the child's custody, a local court has ordered that she should be sent to a short-stay home to live amidst orphans.
