North-east India gets its first IIM

North-east's first Indian Institute of Management has opened in Shillong, also known as India's rock music capital. Sixty young men and women began the first batch on Friday. The Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management is the country's seventh business school. It is the first IIM to be been named after a personality and it hasn't gone down well with students.
