Bhumi Uchhed Pratirodh Committee (BUPC) has called for a 24-hour bandh in Nandigram on Monday. The bandh has been called in order to protest Sunday's firing in which three people were injured. Anti-SEZ supporters allege that nearly 50 CPI-M supporters descended on Satengabari village on Sunday and opened fire.
