The three-month deadlock in Nepal has ended. The Maoists have agreed to rejoin the Girija Prasad Koirala government under a new deal signed on Sunday night. In the 22-point agreement, the two sides agreed that after the elections scheduled to be held in April next year, Nepal will be declared a Federal Democratic Republic through the interim parliament, subject to ratification by the Constituent Assembly.
