Lawrence School Lovedale turns 150
One of the most well known schools in India, Lawrence school Lovedale celebrated its 150th year anniversary on Friday. Set up in 1858 by Major general Sir Henry Lawrence for the children of British soldiers, it was taken over by the Indian government in May 1949.
