Junior doctors in four government hospitals in Bangalore are on strike after they were attacked by angry relatives. Now, their strike has intensified after medical colleges from different parts of Karnataka have agreed to join in. On Wednesday, a pregnant woman fell from one of the cots in labour ward of Bowring hospital. The woman died and her relatives allegedly attacked junior doctors and later ransacked the hospital.
