The Kalpakkam Nuclear Power Plant is now a fortress. Post 26/11, every crucial installation in the country has been under a thick security blanket. A 10-kilo metre radius of the plant has now been declared a no-fly zone. The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation has sent notices to all airlines, prohibiting any flying activity up to a height of 10,000 feet over the Kalpakkam area.
