Even though the threat may now be from air attacks, the Mumbai terror attack has definitely exposed the vulnerability of India's coastline. It is all quiet on the eastern front as of now. But the attack from the sea route on Mumbai has exposed the vulnerability of Andhra Pradesh, which has the longest coastline in the country.
