One farmer has died after violent protests in north Karnataka over shortage of fertilisers for the farmers. The Chief Minister, after an emergency meeting, has called it a political game by the Opposition. "I appeal to the farmers not to resort to violence and maintain peace," said B S Yeddyurappa, Chief Minister, Karnataka.
