Court to deliver sentence in BMW case

The quantum of sentence against Sanjeev Nanda is to be delivered in a Delhi court on Friday. Nanda, after nine-and-a-half years of trial, was pronounced guilty of running over six people in January 1999 in the high-profile BMW hit-and-run case. The prosecution has demanded a maximum punishment of 10 years for Nanda for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, under which he had been found guilty on September 2.
