The stage is set for a major confrontation between Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss and India's top medical institute, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).The Lok Sabha has passed a bill that will allow the government to remove the director of AIIMS at three months notice in the name of public interest.
