Seven years ago, all tigers at the Sariska Tiger Reserve were killed in a poaching scandal, widely regarded as India's worst wildlife disaster. Five big cats from Ranthambore were relocated here in 2008, but no cubs have been born at the reserve even four years after the historic move. The failure has mystified tiger-lovers and conservationists alike, but there is still scope for achieving a turnaround.
