Suzuki and Nissan will invest $1.5 billion in India for an export-oriented car plant at Manesar in Haryana, which is likely to begin production in two years. Heavy Industries Minister Sontosh Mohan Dev said that the companies had submitted a proposal to make the investments for a 350,000 unit capacity plant.
