SEBI to get strict on exchanges, investors

The first week of November will see some real work at Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) when the Chairman M Damodaran will meet his board members for the first board meeting at the new office. On top of the agenda will be some crucial issues, sources said that this could include divestment of brokers stake in stock exchanges like the BSE below 50 per cent.
