ABN Amro has appointed Meera Sanyal as the Country Executive for India, following the resignation of Romesh Sobti. Ms Sanyal has 23 years of experience in consumer, commercial and investment banking.As the new head of ABN Amro in India, Meera Sanyal has a lot on her agenda from managing the impact of the global merger with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) to taking to stronger foreign rivals like Citibank and HSBC in India.
