The Finance Ministry is in a fire fighting mode and wants to tame inflation at any cost before the country goes into an election mode. The cement sector is under further scrutiny of the government as after the government intervention the cement firms on Wednesday agreed to cut prices of cement by Rs 7.50 per bag.
