High food prices continue to give sleepless night to policymakers. So much so, the Prime Minister's top Economic Advisor C Rangarajan believes that controlling inflation has become the top priority to almost all aspects of economic and fiscal policymaking. Rangarajan also believes that freeing up diesel prices is not the right option in the current scenario.
