Indian American Sree Sreenivasan has been appointed New York City's first Chief Digital Officer. In an interview to NDTV, he talks about his new job and what he has learnt from his visit to India. "I am learning so much just coming to India, watching how government is using technology. And you have ministers who are using Twitter. This is something that doesn't happen to this extent (in the US). You have candidates who use it and talk a lot, you have the president who uses it but it's not that kind of feeling you have that you are actually communicating with politicians or people in government in the way that you see here," he said. He also spoke about Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump's media strategies and called Trump "racist", "misogynist" and "fascist".
