A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck Pakistan on Saturday, according to the National Center for Seismology. There were no immediate reports of deaths or damage to property.
This comes hours after an earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck Pakistan on Friday evening. In an X post, the NCS said that Friday's earthquake occurred at a depth of 75 kilometres.
Two massive earthquakes had struck Venezuela on Wednesday evening, killing over 900 people and leaving thousands missing.
The first earthquake had a magnitude of 7.2, and its epicentre was west of the community of Moron, about 168 kilometres west of the capital, Caracas. The quake had a depth of 22 kilometres. The second earthquake struck just a minute later, with a 7.5-magnitude. It had a depth of 10 kilometres, and its epicentre was 16 kilometres southwest of Moron.
