Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has hit back at Congress leader P Chidambaram amid the political sparring over the Women's Reservation Bill. Responding to Chidambaram's criticism of his remarks on Rahul Gandhi, Fadnavis accused him of having a "selective memory". Fadnavis also alleged that Congress supported the 2023 women's reservation amendment but opposed a later legislative push aimed at enabling its implementation before the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
