Women's Reservation Bill which proposes 33% reservation for women was passed in March 2010 in the Rajya Sabha but the 15th Lok Sabha could not pass the bill and it lapsed following its dissolution in 2014. The Bill is now again in talks after Vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar's Remarks. But the issue that is several years old explained by NDTV's Ankit Tyagi.
