"Will Fight Till Last Ball": Pak PM Imran Khan Refuses To Resign

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, whose government has been reduced to a minority in the assembly and is fighting to remain in power, refused to resign on Thursday, saying he will fight till the last ball. Imran Khan alleged that there is a foreign conspiracy working against his government. There are also enemies within the country who are cooperating with them, said Khan, whose government has virtually lost majority in the 342-member National Assembly after defection of two key allies. Amid the Ukraine war, there's a rush of diplomatic activity in India. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov landed in Delhi on Thursday and British foreign secretary Liz Truss met External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar as part of a "wider diplomatic push" on the war in Ukraine, and other top stories.
