Ahead of the Vice Presidential polls, the BJP has launched a sharp attack on the INDIA bloc, questioning their joint candidate, former Supreme Court judge Sudershan Reddy, for meeting RJD leader and fodder scam convict Lalu Prasad Yadav. BJP's Amit Malviya, in a post on X, called the meeting "terrible optics" and a "shocking statement on probity in public life," especially from someone vying for a high constitutional office. Malviya also criticized the silence of retired judges and usual commentators on constitutional morality, accusing them of hypocrisy.
