As the “I Love Muhammad” controversy grows across India, several Muslim youths say true love for the Prophet Muhammad cannot be shown through posters or banners on the streets. They believe Prophet Muhammad’s teachings should be followed in daily life instead of displaying slogans publicly. Many also condemned what they called the harsh and one-sided action by the Uttar Pradesh government and police, after violence in Bareilly led to arrests and jail terms for several Muslims.
