Earlier this week, Erin Patterson, an Australian woman was found guilty of murdering three of her estranged husband's relatives by deliberately serving them poisonous mushrooms for lunch. The case gripped Australia during its nine week trial, following which a jury returned a verdict after six days of deliberations. Patterson faces life in prison and will be sentenced later.
