In a sharp political face-off, Humayun Kabir, leader of the Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP), rejected allegations by Trinamool Congress that he is acting as a "B-team" of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Speaking to NDTV, Kabir asserted that his party is contesting independently with over 100 candidates and aims to form the government on its own. He dismissed claims of supporting BJP post-elections and accused both TMC and BJP of politicizing communal tensions. Kabir also made controversial remarks on issues like Babri Masjid and predicted that his party could win over 100 seats, positioning itself as a decisive force in West Bengal politics.
