The US decision to impose 50% tariffs on Indian seafood has dealt a severe blow to the industry, according to Pawan Kumar, National President of the Seafood Exporters Association of India, who spoke in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. "If you see the numbers, we sell about $3 billion worth of seafood to the US, out of India’s total exports of $7.5 billion. The tariffs have hit us in a big way," Kumar said.
