Actor Imran Khan has approached the Bombay High Court challenging a 'Leave India Notice' issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office, directing him to leave India by October 28, 2026. The petition alleges that the notice was issued without reasons or an opportunity to respond. The notice follows his detention during a protest near Mumbai's August Kranti Maidan on October 10. Khan, an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder who travels on a US passport, has challenged the action as arbitrary.
