Manipur Election 2024 Phase 2: Voting for the remaining part of the Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency is underway on Friday amidst heavy security covers. Voters of various age groups take part in the democratic process with enthusiasm. Voters want development, peace, and progress in the area.
Voters want better education, health facilities, and development works in the area which has been in the news for many months for violence between Kukis and Meiteis ethnic groups. The Naga community has professed to remain neutral during ethnic conflict between the Meiteis of the Valley and the Kumi-Zomis of the hills. Friday’s polling is being held in the remaining 13 Assembly segments under the Outer Manipur parliamentary constituency.
