Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Election Commission, alleging collusion with the BJP to carry out "vote theft." Addressing a massive Congress rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, Gandhi claimed the Election Commission belongs to the people of India, not the Prime Minister, and warned that a future Congress government would repeal and retrospectively amend laws he says were designed to protect election commissioners.
