Vijay's TVK Plans Statewide Tour Ahead of 2026 Tamil Nadu Polls, Seeks Police Nod
Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has sought police permission to launch its statewide tour starting September 13 from Trichy. The first phase of the campaign will cover Trichy, Ariyalur, and Perambalur districts. This major political yatra comes in the run-up to the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and follows Vijay’s massive rally in Madurai, where large crowds gathered to witness his political debut.
