Venezuela Earthquake | Mother Mourns As Children's Bodies Recovered From Rubble

Families in the Venezuelan city of La Guaira mourned loved ones and searched for survivors Thursday after a pair of powerful earthquakes brought down apartment buildings and left scores of people trapped beneath the rubble across the country. The 7.2- and 7.5-magnitude earthquakes that struck Wednesday evening were among the strongest in Venezuela in more than a century and were felt throughout the region. Some 1,500 people were injured, thousands were reported missing across the country and buildings were evacuated as far away as Brazil’s Amazon. Officials say at least 188 people were killed and more than 200 were left trapped. More were feared dead.
