The Bombay High Court on Monday expressed strong displeasure over the disruption caused by the Maratha quota protest led by Manoj Jarange Patil, who is on an indefinite fast at Mumbai's Azad Maidan. The court noted that the protest, initially confined to the Maidan, has spiraled out of control-leading to massive traffic jams, chaos, and bringing parts of the city to a standstill. In response to the escalating situation, Mumbai Police issued a notice to Jarange Patil, ordering him to vacate Azad Maidan immediately.
