The women learners are adopting new skills and learning how to increase their output, all thanks to USHA. USHA is not only contributing to India’s rural electrification and transformation but creating a livelihood option for remote rural women by providing them with sewing and stitching training. Before joining USHA silai school Tarannum did not know anything about stitching but the community-based initiative is now helping her to empower herself as well as providing her opportunity to generate income.
